History of Our Church
Established 1957
On September 12th 1957, Heights Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL assisted New Hope Sunday School in being constituted as Scenic Bay Baptist Church.
Scenic Bay is an Independent Baptist Church which simply means we are governed by the congregation and are not a part of any conference or association. We strive to be a loving, Christ-like, called out assembly of believers here in the Pensacola area.
Mission
To worship God with fellow believers, instruct believers in the things of God, fellowship with other believers and build relationships, and to evangelize a dying world.
Vision
It is the vision of Scenic Bay Baptist to see God work in the lives of individuals and families. To draw people closer to Christ by seeking to grow in wisdom and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
